Impressed with the vacuuming every night! I try my best to straighten up (an ongoing debate with my partner) - though relying on roomba for vacuuming 😇 I also strongly agree with the value of compartmentalizing / prioritizing.
And though we're not trying to add to-do lists, having a to-do list is beneficial for me! Your brain is not meant to be a hard drive. Creating systems (while allowing for flexibility) makes my life much easier!
Love this, Sarah! You’re so right. I also thrive off of to-do lists haha. My entire life lives in Notion. Right now, our main living area is relatively small. Once we’re out of our condo and into a forever home, the vacuuming schedule may have to change and I may also need a Roomba lol.
Such a solid list. #1 and #4 have been supremely helpful in keeping me sane and feeling like I sorta got this mom thing figured out over the past year! Of course, both of those things are starting to take a hit now as I wait for this second baby to show up any second *but* I'm eager to get back on our routine once things settle!!! Especially #2. Keep that coffee comin, baby.
Any type of routine, even in small tasks, help so much with sanity in motherhood! I’m so glad you enjoyed this list. And know I’m sending encouragement as you find your groove again once baby #2 arrives!
Thanks so much for reading, Megan! I’m so glad these tips resonate with you. Each child is so unique, as is their needs! It sounds like you’re doing an amazing job respecting your toddler’s needs, and I’m sure the same will be true once you welcome baby number two. And I agree, I’m all about daily “bumpers” that keep us in our lane without being too rigid or strict on anything. The perfect, happy medium!

Are you in Austin? I go to momco too
No, I’m in Southern California! But I think MomCo is nation wide. It’s the best! I’m on the leadership team and just love it.
All good advice! Keep the tips coming :)
Thank you :)
